Hi all. Got given this Victa "Statesman' from a neighbours "junk' pile. Saw it was old & Side Valve . I like anything S/V ( got a 1942 Harley WLA ) Am told it's like over 40 years old . So decided to clean it up, and just for the heck of it , try & get it running . I did. I am no expert , but have never seen a throttle set up COVER , Breather , set up like this on a Victa or any other Mower for that matter ! It does say 'NEW GENERATION MOWERS" . Also I cannot even find a photo on WWW I may well be missing something , but would appreciate any info. or intel. on what this is specs etc HP ? and where it fits into the Victa scheme of things . Gotta luv the STEEL Dip stick!
I have spent a lot of time on it.....it Runs , Idles & Cuts great . Starts first pull after 1 prime. Seems to be all Original ( except wheels) Many thanks in advance ( will now try with the pics ) I CANNOT SEE HOW TO ATTACH THE PHOTOS???
