hi there,
could you please tell me how to fine tune and adjust the carby and throttle cable on a victa power torque engine 87 model with a plastic carby. and also the best cleaning method to clean the carby.

Isin't your 87 Model victa running that well? To adjust the throttle Cable you loosen the screw on the wear plate,located on the the air filter case, just where the air intake pipe attaches to the case. Move the screw up or down to the disired position Preferably with engine running so you can tell where the engine runs best. but make sure the engine will stop when the leaver is pulled back to the stop position if it doesent you will have to re - adjust it.
