Hi AVB,
I guess that is the reason, but I would imagine at least 50% of pressure washers would be fitted to Honda motors

Well the GX series Honda engines here that I have work on that are mounted on pressure washers had either 3/4" (19.05mm) or 1" (25.4) PTO ends. Even pump supplier don't list anything in metric other a few belt drive pumps and they are 24mm.

Now mowers are a different story they are over the place on shaft diameters and styles.

Thanks AVB, might be my bad, I just assumed the Honda shaft would be 25mm not 1inch, guess I should have paid more attention to it. 1inch certainly makes fitting it easier

Just got around to checking the Honda shaft and as I assumed it would be it is 25 mm not 1" Luckily I ordered some .2mm feeler gauges And the pump housing is 45mm too deep so some rectification work needs to be done there. Not sure about that yet, nothing is ever straight forward with this stuff
