Was given this blower, no history, looked hardly ever used. Fired up briefly with some fuel down the plughole but couldn't get it running so put it away - just seemed that bit too unused to drop at the tip.
Anyhows got it running today after a teardown which included taking out the Low and High mixture screws without the right tool, a Donald Trump of a job. In the process lost track of where they were set originally. Made slots in the screws with my Dremel to accept a flat screwdriver and have the upper rpm sorted but not the Low screw, won't idle nicely.
Advice on how many turns out for the High and Low screws please.

My general starting point for those was about 1.75 turns out
Bear in mind the mightylites often don't have much idle control - is it idling rough or rally fast?

Thanks Tyler. Yep, couldn't get it to do anything below half throttle, that's why I started mucking around with the High/Low needles, thought the Low circuit was blocked. Just been tweaking it and it's running well enough on half to full throttle with H turned out two turns, don't really need it to be idling.
It's a toy though. I borrow either a Stihl BR800 or 600 backpack now and then to do our walking paths, this little thing will be handy around the verandahs and carport.

The Homelite has done its last blowjob around here, it is just not powerful enough and although it now is running OK it is a bit sensitive to movement, drops revs when orientation changes.
There's an intersection a few kms away where people often leave give away garden tools, child car seats, etc. Nothing sits there for long.
