Hi, I am having problems trying to get the proper blades for my 2 mowers.
1st mower is a Corvette 400 series, power torque 2 blade (1998-200)
2nd mower is a Hurricane VE50, power torque 4 blade.

Both blades look identical to me, i measured the Corvette blade. 121mm o/a and approximately 96 to 97 from center of hole. 43mm wide. 15mm hole.

From the Outdoor king web site, i found CA09506 to be the closest but out of stock.
Are there blades available that will fit both of mowers i have.

Cheers - Craig

Hi Craig,
I have no idea on the part numbers, all I carry here are blades to suit 18 inch, 19 inch and 24 inch. From memory I also use the 24 inch blades on the 22 inch Victas because they use a smaller diameter blade carrier than the 24 . If you can't get them from ODK then just ebay Victa 18 inch blades. I often use the 19 inch blades on the 18's because they are thicker and wider, then I just cut a bit off the end to make them fit

Thanks NormK, Never thought about cutting the longer ones down.

Tyler, Thanks for that. Rang up the local mower shop, they sell GA spares blades for victa.
I was quoted $16 for the bnc 3242 over the phone, not sure if the bolt set was included.
Bunnings do sell victa blades for the 18", at $29.64. pretty pricey though.

Good to know that 1 blade size fits both of my mowers, thanks again.

Holy hell I only pay $5.50 for a set of blades and about $13 for the 24 inch blades. Think I had better up my price when I fit a new set of blades.

Update on 18" Victa Mower blades. Checked ebay and they have 2 pair (4 blades) + 4 bolts packs CA09506S for $18.58.
That equals $9.29 per 1 pair + bolt pack.

Also GYC Mowers have Genuine Victa blade + bolt set (CA09506S)
for $12 a pair.

SuperSteep have (or did have them) them for a reasonable $12.00.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Norm, theres a tool kit depot (owned by bunnings) in Mentone. They have some pretty decent prices on GA spares Bynorm blades and filters.

$4.95 18in victa blades, 4.95 masport 18in blades, 6.95 19in victa, $5.95 briggs ohv kidney shaped filters

https://toolkitdepot.com.au/search-results-page?q=bynorm

$99+ orders have free delivery so

Don't think theres a tkd in nsw though

$30 for a blade and bolt set for 18" Victa 1974 on is scandalous. I didn't know we were experiencing 90% p/a inflation levels.

Proof is in lĂŠ pudding.
The two stroke oils are a different story.
