YUKON LOG ELE-012 log splitter. Manual says 3.5 litres, tank measurement to working level is under 2 litres?

HI itforsenior

Don't forget the oil on both sides of the hydraulic ram and the oil in the control valve and the hydraulic hoses and the pump.

If you change all the oil you need to bleed all the air out before operating the log splitter otherwise you can damage the
log splitter.

Cheers
Max.

Thank you, may be better to leave it to a pro. May not be totally necessary, in domestic use for a few years. Another small point, dipstick air bleed. The head is drilled from outside and inside but do not mate as I cannot confirm any flow.

Lost track of my draft. Got the air bleed on the dipstick sorted. I would like to replace guiding supports, can you refer me to a parts supplier?

Hi itforsenior,

If I can't find a certain part I would usually ask at a shop that sells the log splitter to let me know where to get parts from or
just ask a log splitter parts supplier if they have the part or ask them where to get the part from if they can't help.

A web search threw up Klika which turns out to be a major online retailer but has a showroom in Braeside. Surprised to find they sell log splitters, more surprised they stock parts. Good support in identifying parts, keen pricing, rapid posting. What's not to like !

Yes I have been thinking of getting a 50 ton splitter from them for a year or so, they are way cheaper than everywhere else. Good to know their service is good
