seeing that the search bar uses google. I have found that hit and miss.
it respects phrases like
"these words in this order"
but that is about it.
one cannot restrict the search to a forum thread or parent group.
even with this method generally applied in the browser. got the url from here for the greenfield forum.

that just gets me the parent thread and not any of the subthreads.
searching more generally gets more hits.

but google does an OR not an AND for its searches
(anyone remember alta vista search engine from 1997. that one was almost regex level.)

so all in all searching is difficult here, it would be better to be able to "search this forum"
or have the urls for a parent and sub threads include something that was searchable and restrictive to it only.

I know it's a wide search.
But if you want to search the forum, i add ODK and any user names I know... and work through the results. .

then today from this sites search field I get referred to , which is only a general problem page.
