Well done in your efforts reviving them. Have you seen Chondas on them? I'm sure a Victa V40 would work ok.
Have your seen Briggs vertical pulls? Would a 3hp cope or would a higher rated version like an I/C be required?


Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Cut down a few fins on the head and cut 2 back on the barrel so I can fit a PT decomp valve to a F/C motor. Be interesting to see if it effects the cooling in any way

Hi Max,
it seems to come in batches, may not see anymore pop up for 12 months or so. Same thing happened with Ariens, got 6 all in a few weeks and then nothing since, and that is not for the want of looking and scratching around

Hopefully not MF, I hope they move on to their forever homes quickly but that probably won't be till September October
