2-stroke mower addict!
So this popped up on another forum recently and I've never seen nor heard of a model 5 badge in red but here one is.

So my question is, is this a super rare badge or is it just painted? I don't own it. Otherwise, I'd know for sure.

If you say painted just because of looking at the photos, then please don't just throw in your guess. I'm looking for solid knowledge of weather victa did do a few red badges or not.

Real or not, it would go great on a department store with a red base. Just my opinion......

Hi Sean,

It's definitely not an original colour.

You can tell it's not original from the bad paint job also the original badges after the centre colours are painted in, the last part to be painted is the
silver so looking at the back of the badge the whole badge at the back should be silver (grey) and this is red and not grey at the back..

If the red was original there would be grey paint on the top of of the red paint at the back.

Cheers
Max.
