I have a poulan chain saw # 2512 that it seems to drain all of the oil overnight. Leaving it in one spot will for sure leave a big spot of oil. It will completely drain the oil tank.
Any suggestions/comments at to what can be the solution to this ?
You should take the saw back to the dealer that you purchased it from and have a modification done to the oil pump under warranty. Any Poulan dealer can perform the warranty job for you. Once the repair is done it should be ok assuming that is the cause of the oil leaking.
If the saw is running fine, & the bar & chain is getting plenty of oil when in use. Go ahead & use it . just a little hassel to drain oil out at the end of the day.My expertice is not poulans, but the cost to replace gasket or such might be a new saw price. As always its just my oppinion.
