Hi All,
I recently purchased a Series 70 Victa mower copy.
It’s actually named “Super Power” and was sold through the Retravision store chain.

It has a G3 carby, and the problem seems to be that when it’s cranked over, too much fuel is passing through the carby, into the combustion chamber, and out the muffler!!

I believe that fuel is being drawn past the jet in large quantities, and that the o-ring is not sealing.
I have tried to find a suitable replacement, to no avail.
All o-rings I have come across are either too large in diameter or too small in cross sectional diameter.
An internet search has failed to find one, so I am hoping someone may have one or two to sell me.
I am happy to cover all associated postal costs, and to pay $5 per o-ring.

I am keen to get this mower running again, and this carby o-ring seems to be the one item needed to do so.
Please, if anyone has a G3 fuel jet o-ring, reply to this post, and I will reimburse costs for postage at $5 per ring.

Kind regards

The part number you need is GA Spares PTC807

They are the same size, and often marketed, as replacement o rings for Victa brass fuel taps through ODK. Maybe give Bruce a call

Would also suggest one of the gaskets as you can always guarantee it will split

Thank you Tyler. Your reply is very much appreciated.
As an aside, do any Victa fuel taps (petcocks?) have this o-ring in them?
ie: can I take a Victa fuel tap and use its o-ring for the G3 carby?

Glad to compromise a fuel tap to get the required o-ring as an alternative.

Just realised, you said “brass”

All my fuel taps are either plastic, or what appears to be an aluminium alloy.
Oh well..
