Afternoon all

Helping my neighbour to find a new mower, tried to steer him in the SB/Rover 45 direction but he would like a new machine. Spoke to a couple of dealers who will be getting more stock of the Cox domestic cylinder mowers. They look to be very much orientated on the 45 design. Has anyone got one and can give an opinion of please ?

Cheers

Hi wce

Don't own one but the Cox is the same as the TPE cylinder mower except it has a briggs instead of honda

As you say, fairly faithful 45 copy aside from a centrifugal clutch. A lot of the stuff is now centrifugal - even most of the proteas.

The closest is of course the parklands 45 (same as supaswift) with the regular clutch - but then has a chinese engine

Another thing to think of is the rubber lined rear roller - quieter over concrete but can grab at the grass a bit if not careful
