I have to replace the clutch drum on saw is there a special tool needed. I was told to pull plug place rope into cylinder to prevent movement an us a punch to turn clutch. Is this right?

Yes the rope tool will work, if you dont have the special tool.& the clutch is reverse threads also. Thats if its screwed on.
