wce, I think you are right with sunbeam wheels (like these below), but I think someone has taken to those with drill. They were probably put on a trolley or even a blackboard (have seen that before)
Look at the bottom right one in the 1st picture in the listing, the hole looks a bit skewed
Thanks Tyler, bit of a shame as the wheels look in pretty good order and caps are hard to find. With the wheels all being the smaller diameter, my guess is they came off an electric Sunbeam.
Be interesting to have a look at the wheels when you dig it out, Ive got a few sets of Sunbeam wheels and they all have one piece caps without a smaller centre cap.

If you click on the link to my thread it shows them as being 2 piece, or at least 1 piece with a hole in the middle.
