Hey group.

So, has anyone found a solution that doesn’t involve drilling and putting bolts through to stop the handlebars from shifting when in use?

When I took my handlebars apart, something that appeared to be lead came out. I assume someone may have used it to pack them out in the past.

I have read about someone suggesting putting a coke can in and calming down around that... no luck.

Has anyone found a way on stopping the floppy bar syndrome? I was thinking some high density foam rubber?

G'day Scott

A coke can may not be thick enough ,I had mowers where people had cut a strip of 1mm or 1.6 mm sheet metal and
used that between the clamp also had a hacksaw blade put in one.

I've heard you just grind a bit off the back of one clamp.

Hi Scott,
I was thinking along the lines of something like 1mm nitrile rubber or any hard rubber of a similar thickness
