Hello ODK history lovers
Morrison motor mowers were once an iconic brand in New Zealand.
Sid Morrison produced clever designs for mowers and cultivators
that suited local conditions. Morrison mowers and cultivators were
sold in Australia, and in other overseas markets.

So, what sort of company was Morrisons?

Here are two audio interviews and their respective transcripts:

Joyce Barry interviews Morrison employee Jim Judd - 13 June, 2018.
Frank Cooper interviews Jack Purcell Morrison – 20 May, 2016

This first part presents the Judd interview.
This is a fascinating, and rare, insight into Morrisons.
It involves a Scott Bonnar connection and more ...
It was a sad day when Morrison was no more.

PART TWO - Jack Morrison
Jack Morrison was the son of Sid Morrison, the founder of the
Morrison motor mower and much more … cultivators, mower
sharpening machines, bicycle maker …

There is not a lot of information about the founder or his
company, but Jack’s interview reveals the raw and colourful
characters that represented early lawnmower making.

That is why this is so special – an interview with
Jack Morrison – recorded in 2016.
