Are these chinese copies, I can't imagine they manufacture them, as Dunn and Bradstreet reports their turnover in 2015 as $2.4M US and 5 employees on site in Qld. Directors Jorge Baraujo and Antonio Brugioni.

Well "Star Products" sold a 17" clone and the South African Protea is supposed to be another SB 45 clone.

Hi Beech, when you look at the range of mowers they make the only place they could be made is in China, obviously just another importer bringing them into the country

Must admit the 25 inch model looks rather interesting, but as suggested these would most definitely be Chinese made units.
The centrifugal clutch is a turn off for me though. I much prefer a operator activated clutch.
Cheers, BB.
