I decided to try and adapt a spare dress cowl to improve the Frankenmower's appearance a bit.
Some plastic had to be cut on the rear to clear the Mustang petrol tank on there as the petrol tank from this dress cowl won't go on this base.
A tiny corner needed cutting off the right hand edge as well to clear the VC's high arch. I don't know why a previous owner had to cut off so much of the old dress cowl which was the same as this.
It looks much better now. I just need to fix some play where the LH handlebar stem meets the body as the catcher doesn't sit right as a result of the drooping bar.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Still a fantastic workhorse there MF, problem is most people just don't appreciate how good they really are.

Not a fan of him eIther. Very arrogant man and a tyrant.

Yeah, won't pay SFA to all the mine workers he ripped off, but will happily p*ss millions up against a wall on ad campaigns saying how bad the WA government is.

For eastern states readers, at least every 10-20 minutes he has an ad on both radio and TV saying various crap about 'Mark McGowans Cover up', and how McGowan is worse than Nixon.

I haven't been listening to the radio as much because he annoys me that much - as he is on 6PR (3aw talkback equivalent) and 6IX (60s, 70s & 80s). I put on ABC radio National for the news, and in the car I went and bought a 4 disc Fleetwood Mac box set - so I am fine

Funny enough last night I was watching his interview walk offs on YT. Great way to instill confidence in a potential prime minister Cliff!
