Hi all, thought I would share pics of my collection and if any mowers are of interest, I’ll start another thread in the appropriate place.

Always glad to share speedy, and yes everything in the pictures works.
As for the drill, just got that a day or 2 ago just figuring out the best way to preserve, it’s a 32 volt unit and has already been tested on a 32 volt generator I have stored at my folks place.

Hello Batimus and speedy
Many thanks Sir Bat for sharing your collection.

I like your taste ... it's ecclectic ... like mine.
I love the collection of ESBE slicers!

I wrote about them here:
https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/68100/SCOTT_BONNAR_-_ESBE_-_Bean_Sli.html

I love the Ransomes' Mk 6 Minors too.
I have fond memories of using both the 12" and 14" ones.
The 18" is the rarest. I think you have an 18" machine?

I love the KBC drill too.

I wrote about them here:
https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/90543/kbc-lawnmower-c1956.html

Many thanks for coming back and sharing.
You have saved many mowers from oblivion.

Thanks Jack
Good to be back.
Part of the reason of sharing some of the pictures is reading your history threads, absolutely love reading those. I should get some closer pics of the ESBE bean slicers, there is actually 3 variations, one only a minor variation. Don’t just have the KBC drill, but a bean slicer as well. The collection gets more eclectic, just have to get pictures, some of my collection is stored at my folks place.

And yes it’s an 18” ransomes. It actually came from the army barracks on Rottnest island. So even more special in a way.

Cheers
Batimus.

Hi Batimus,
You certainly like your unusual stuff. You're no typical Victa hoarder.
A coat of arms on a mower?!! I'm guessing that's some fancy prestigious English marque used to maintain a manor on the hill!
No keyless chuck on the Power Chief! Probably still useful with good drill bits.
Interesting artefact.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Thanks Mowerfreak
Though it may upset some here, I actually have very little love for Victa, upon saying that I do own one and have yet to get pictures, I’ll start posting more info on the other mowers every now and then.
Cheers
Batimus.

Everyone has their tastes. The Victa was a part of my growing up and while they have their faults, sine more thean others, I find them personally the most stylish looking machines of all the brands and the easiest to work on and get bits for.

No worries Mowerfreak. Not knocking the Victa collectors, just not my thing. Spent way too much time working on them as a kid with my old man, I think most people have some story of growing up with Victa’s. And though only one of my reel mowers is Australian, I kinda like working on the more obscure Australian stuff.
Cheers
Batimus.
