Morning all

Thought I might share my latest find. I happened across a part on gumtree and knew straight away what it was so jumped on it as I have only ever seen 1 other in captivity. Whilst I was out and about found a Slasher to go with it in great nick! cant wait to get it up and runnning!

G'day Nath
The Rover Rider - as it was originally named -
was a true take on the early slasher mower.

They were cheaper than the opposition mowers - because they
used Rover's 'posi-drive', a system - using dogs on the rear wheels.

It was a success story for Rover - made over decades and sold
in their thousands to owners, contractors, the military, and
municipal bodies.

This one seems to date from the 1980s.
The trailing seat is genuine and super rare.

Great find!
