I’ve started a resto project of a very early 60’s go kart. I have a Victa engine but trying to source a tapered sprocket for it. I know they’re out there can any one help point me in the right direction? Something like the attached photo Cheers
Connormax, I note you have been asked the question re rust removal and painting, my question is what sort of paint to use? I have almost completed a resto job on a 1980 Victa Corvette and did not paint the barrel I would have preferred that I did. I am now starting on a 1966 Victa Cortina 2 125cc and would like to paint the barrel. It is at the moment in the bath being derusted (if that is such a word) and would like to paint it. I think at sometime I will do up my wifes old Mustang she used in the 70,s, you know, when you are having a few drinks or whatever you can always mention the Mustang Corvette and Cortina sitting in the shed in my collection. LOL.
