Looking for a starter cup to suit 1967 Victa Cortina 2, it has the wind up starter with the cup that has the (for want of a better word) corrugations around the inside, for the starter pawls to catch on, my cup is stripped, caused I would say by a crack in it.
Please advise if you have one the price and cost of postage etc and I can arrange payment.

Sorry Beech but I will NEVER contribute to that bastard earning millions running Aus Post.

Thanks for you reply Norm, I understand your feelings, so I am quite happy for you to deliver the cup personally if you happen to have one, I am sure I could buy you a beer or a red.

I know there is one lying on the ground somewhere here I keep seeing it and there is another one on a motor at the back of the shed, that is without really looking but as we are not allowed to be more than 10ks from our place of residence I doubt I could take you up on a beer.

Well it is good to hear you may have one, you can let me know how much you want for it (that is if you want to part with it) and I will look into how to freight it up here, or to my Son in Ballarat.

Beech, we are not allowed out of Melbourne, regardless of your need for a starter cup.
TJ, I'm going to wear the face mask I use when I cut concrete, faceshield with 2 respirator cartridges, that should get a laugh when I go to the supermarket. Funny but you are not allowed to were a mask into the bank, apparently the bug doesn't frequent banks

I had to go and get my flu shot at the doctors back when this thing first started, I turned up wearing my spray mask with the two cartridges, got a few comments but with dicky heart and lungs that are not all that good was not taking any risks.
Norm, re your Aus Post CEO comment, I assume you were referring to that person (Ahmed Fahour), he was getting paid $4.4 mil plus he received a $1.2 m bonus for being such a good bloke, his predecessor Christine Holgate was paid $1.646 mil in 17/18 and got a pay rise in 18/19 to $2.646 mil, seems to me we need a new Board to run Aus Post.

Hi Beech,
They are the ones I was referring to and the current one is on about the $4 mil I think. That is why it cost a min of $8 to send a 25 gram parcel anywhere

Hello Norm,
yep bloody ridiculous the cost of postage, a couple of friends and I are messing around with 3D printing, unfortunately I am in Gol Gol, one in WA and one in Qld and there have been times when we would like to show our prints to each other but the postage kills that, so a lot of photos and explanations are used.
My friend in Qld does the design on computer so we can then use the file to print, I have sent him a Victa hub cap so he can do a file and we will see how that prints, he designed and we have been printing a mount for anderson plugs, we are on a forum of persons interested in caravans and motorhomes so we intend to supply these mount free of charge to any member, but at 30 gms the cheapest postage is $8 to $10 robbery.

Beech.
