Hi all, I am after a complete carby same as this one. It's from an old Seagull Outboard motor. It's a Villiers engine. The carby bowl on this one is cracked and the brass tube and thread inside the carby is butchered beyond repair. Basically the carby body is ok, it's just the bowl and the brass tube inside that I need. Thanks everyone.

Hello MickyD,
You can buy new parts for these old things.
I've seen them, just google seagul parts or villiers parts . If you know model numbers and part numbers , it's easier.

I was surprised by the fuel ratio 10 to 1. And the gearbox lubrication, an emulsion, water is meant to mix with the gear oil to lubricate the gearbox.
The one I tuned up and used , the gearbox was filled with grease, and the gears made a channel in the grease, so not much lubrication. I had to flush it out and put gearoil in.
There a lot on the net with manuals etc etc.
happy memories
