Can anybody help? I need 2 of these. It's the one with the centre bolt and 3 smaller outer bolts. Either the 4 blade round one or the 2 blade one would do. I thought I would get one from my recycle centre by buying another mower but when I got the blade holder off it was also cracked around the 3 outer bolt holes. So I thought this place might be a more reliable alternative to buying another mower. Happy to pay the price.
My postcode is 4740 if you want to see how much the postage cost is. I have a Sendle account that will pickup from your door too, so that could be a cheaper and more convenient alternative.

The Flymo is very similar, it is just the 3 holes are a fraction off and have to be filed so you can fit the studs. It is probably 1/2mm different, just a bit of a pain. Problem with $33 for a blade carrier it just about makes fixing the mower not worth while. Can't say I have come across a cracked one, Masports yes but not Rovers

I have had quite a few cracked ones to the extent I thought it was a design fault of the disk. I know what you mean about the cost. The price of that one on Ebay, which is the cheapest I've seen is nearly half my normal sale price of $75. I guess my best option is to buy another wreck or two from the recycle shop and hope for better luck. Like you said in one of your posts, the last thing I need is more Briggs spares.

I know it is a pain but if you have a Briggs on a Victa blade boss you could then fit a Victa blade carrier but it is a real pain getting the boss off just so you can fit a carrier to it

No Victa blade boss but may be able to get one. If I did have one I would also need to put that plastic ring under the Briggs to lift the engine up wouldn't I?

no need for the spacer, the Rover base is the correct height for the Briggs motor, fit a Victa boss on and the blades will be at the right height.

I got two from the recycle shop for $20. One was on a complete mower and the other had been discarded and was lying around. All good now.
