I'm wondering what sizes Victa produced most of their run of the mill mowers in.
I'm lead to believe most only had an 18 inch cutting width but I'm wondering if they did 19 inches in their later stuff in the late 1990's ~ early 2000's.
Cheers, BB.
I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.
Hi MF, the only 19's I have come across is the Tornado style bases I haven't come across the 19 inch alloy but I believe they do exist. Don't know of any other 19 inch steel bases but who knows.
Yes there are a few 19 inch alloy base Victa models like the Razor and Mustang ,I picked up a Victa mower a few years ago with an alloy base and a Honda motor but it had no wheels so it's sat around for a fair while ,anyway I just had a look and it's a 19 inch Mustang and i just collected some wheels for it last week ,not sure why it was thrown out it looks fairly new looking.
Yes I just realized I have one of those blue ones in the picture here at the moment, because it was so new I forgot it was a Victa, pain in the butt because it takes up nearly as much space as a self propelled Honda
Yep that blue one does nothing for the Victa name, looks no better than the average Chinese mower Norm.
Just put the wheels on the 19 inch cut Mustang and gave it a clean, put some fuel in and first go on the pull starter it started, it must have got thrown out because the original wheels broke apart, the snorkel has not survived , even found the mulch plug was still in the mower.
That is a really good mower there Max, I don't seem to come across anything in that sort of condition, around where I live things seem to get worked till they are falling to bits before they get turfed.
