Hello Bruce, Members and Mods

In these uncertain times, we wish all a happy and festive
2019 Christmas and 2020 New Year.

It’s been three years since we started charging for access to certain
content. Most content remains free to any WWW viewer.
The token fee was to ensure survival of these great forums.

Since then, it is certain ... ODK survives!
Much has happened since then, and we would like to make some new
and some old observations this year.

We are as sure as ever that these forums be led by members.
We are so impressed by members who have 'given-back' over many years.
From Tasmania to Tennessee, folks simply help other folks on garden and
garden products questions. Thank you!

We feel ODK is committed to the forum format – and a clear
observation must be the expressed politeness of members in
their questions and responses to members seeking help. Thank you!

It is a credit to all that we avoid the ‘keyboard warriors’ who
find it easy to express their impolite vitriol on other social media platforms.
We are a friendly crowd, Thank you!

We personally thank the specialist members who have frequented
the forums this year, giving quality, expert advice time and time again.
I won't single out members - you know who you are. Thank You!

A big thank you to the man they call Bruce for ODK. His vision,
decades ago, has built up a huge cache of valuable repair and
historical information. I hope this site continues to thrive ...
that it remains relevant!

A big thank you to the Moderators who oversee ODK.
We do not intrude unless we have something to say, or have
something to do. Sincere thanks to Alan, Doug, BB,
Paul and Theo.

A Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Long live the King.

Merry Christmas to all and thank you. This is a wonderful community which I have had the privilege to be accepted and apart of. Looking forward to seeing some more great restorations and stories next year. B_S

Hi All,

This year has been fantastic with some of our members embarking on projects that they probably never thought they'd ever do nor achieve the results that they have.

We're all here for pretty much the same thing and that is to enjoy our outdoor power equipment whatever that may be. The knowledge that's here on ODK is immense and thus when passed on freely gives hope to even the most novice of restorers to achieve something they never thought was ever possible.

In the end I'm glad we've all gotten there this year and as such hope that next year will be even more adventurous for all our existing members and the new ones that will venture in through the front door of these wonderful pages.

In finishing I'd like to wish all our current members a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Fruitful 2020.

Cheers,
BB.

Yes all the best to everyone here and BB has summed it up very well, and hopefully we will all get up again in the New Year and do it all again. Cheers everyone.

Most important, keep your fingers and toes safe. Happy Christmas folks.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
