I stumbled on this beauty a while back. Was during a 1974 Sydney visit. He didn't predict the rarity of a Victa VC 125 Mk III which was available new at the time! He likely would have said to grab one and keep it in the box!

C'mon B_B cut the guy a break, it was 1974 not 1984. He did good predicting that for the real 2001, (not the book he released together with the movie six years prior).

Sure it was amazing what he was able to predict but the advances in this has gone way past talking about a monitor sitting on a desk. He made no mention that one day a hand held mobile device would be all you would need
