Freight company probably didn't invent the term "logistics" as the military has used to for a very long time.
Most civilians usually would associate these freight companies over here especially as the UPS company uses it a lot.
As on your side of the Big Pond we also have terrible carriers. Several of them I refuse to use and some then have since gone out of business. Even our postal system got pretty bad with time delays for packages and mail back in the 1980's, 1990's, and part of the 2000's but now they are fairly reliable. Currently the only two carriers that I can depend on is the US Mail and UPS.
And then there is the other courier companies, I ordered a box of supposed one use plastic shopping bags yesterday afternoon and they were delivered at 8.00am this morning by Couriers Please so it can be done. Now my wife doesn't have to remember to put reusable bags back in her car before she goes shopping because she can keep a pack of them in the boot of the car for when she need some
just had nbn scam - talked to the guy, stung along for a minute and I said just disconnect my nbn, he told me to "go and die you ***king stupid son of a b**ch"
Hi Tyler, The fact that they keep trying these scams means they must get the odd fish otherwise they wouldn't keep it up. I guess abusing these grubs is just water off their backs. Best thing we did was getting rid of our landline because that was what 90% of our calls were for the last 12 months or so even though we were on the do not call register. When I rang Telstra and told them I wanted it cancelled the operator was concerned that we would loose the number and my reply was that was the best thing that could happen, stop all the nuisance calls
