Hello all,
I have a mostly complete SB 45 to give to a deserving home. It is not in going order, but it has a lot of original parts like SB HandGrips and other various bits and pieces. I started pulling it apart to refurbish it, but, life got in the way and it now sits forlornly in my shed sulking.
I'm doing a shed clean up and if no one wants to whisk it away within the next 3 weeks, it will go to the roadside scavengers who loot garbage.
Message me for details if you're interested.

Hi OF,
Hopefully you shouldn't have too many issues in giving it away. To be brutally honest even if you put it up on Gumtree at $100 you'll have your phone pestered for 24 hours straight.
Sadly as you're not here in SA it's just not cost effective as I would've added it to my boneyard of 45's which all eventually become either good mowers for someone or heart donors to another machine in due course. In the end nothing is wasted here.
Cheers, BB.
I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.

BB,
Mate, I was feeling generous, but now I will put it up for sale unless by the time the 3 weeks is up nobody off here has claimed it.
First pick to the good folk on this site, got to get my priorities right hey.

I think I have the original catcher somewhere too, not in tip top condition mind you, but certainly repairable.

I'm very keen for this to be my first restoration! I'm in Maitland.

In the interests of self-preservation and the safety of my home and family, I can now inform all here that young Harris from Tenambit WILL be the proud owner of my once cherished SB45.
I can now imagine this mighty brains trust here on this wonderful site will endow young Harris with the information/ data/ links and tricks of the trade to enable him to carry out the restoration I should've done 18 months ago.
Such a good feeling to know it isn't going to finish up in a refuse compactor.
Enjoy it Harris.
Cheers
Gazza

Thank you so much Gazza. It will be loved and slowly restored back to life so it can mow and be admired by jealous neighbours!!😂😂
