This has been sitting on a shed roof for a long time at a Mower business on the Central Coast of NSW.
Anyone know what it is and how sought after they are?

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

Mf,

Rover is my guess and if somebody paid $80 I would say that is top dollar, free to good home is probably more like it.. Good simple rideon but only somebody wanting to do this as a challenge would bother with it

Yep I agree with Norm ,Rover Ranger https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=59808

I don't think they are very much sort after ,they are usually cheap when they come up for sale ,I have one RR that was free.

Cheers
Max.

That is a mid to late 60's Rover ranger. It is the early model with the straight not curved handlebar, also the deck engagement was quite different to the later models. Look like the original Very early briggs and stratton engine with the metal fuel tank and probably the odd carburettor setup of the early models.

Not especially sought after, those early ones are getting quite rare these days though. Running condition I would say $100+ but not running/seized/rusted basically give away.
