I may have mentioned earlier of my right eye's retina detaching in August... Well, after three weeks it went again and the second operation went well but they put a denser gas in to "hold all the bits in place".... On the check-up from that second Op, my left eye was diagnosed with the same problem and for the first time in 3 weeks I can see...............
The Aussie Long Weekend, and temps are on the rise
If only I didn't have these problems with my eyes
Off to the Doc I go to have it all corrected
I'd prefer to be home than in a hospital bed!
The list of planned jobs is only growing longer
The hours and days away from home start to make me wonder
Have weeds come up or is there enough water?
I hope my family's done what they oughta
The lawn is due for another early fert
The blades will shine green, firm up and stand pert.
Kelp for the roots and humic for the soil
I love watching the results of my effort and toil.
The hedges are showing signs of coming alive
With buds a plenty and bees out from their hive
It won't be long till the hedger is used
One from DeWalt, bright yellow and new!
I'll be blind for weeks, and I'm not talking about grog
Kind of depressed, geez, I wish I still had my dog
Need to think positive and just one more thing
Can't wait to get back to the OutDoorKing!
