Does anyone know if a 94SS grind camshaft for a flathead Briggs will fit in a 4.5hp flathead Briggs Quantum? If so with 0.268 lift on intake and 0.262 on exhaust I'm guessing valuves, springs and lifters need replacing as well but with what? Do you guys believe that any noticeable increase in power would be achieved?

Probably best to post this on Kart racing forum site. Personally I never tried to modify a Briggs engine but in the Go Kart world they have and should able to offer advice.
