I hope I am not breaching site terms here by recommending a company that I have found saved me money. The recommendation is only to check them out nothing more. Anyway, here goes;
Quite often I have sold something, such as computer parts, only to find that, by the time I pay PayPal, Ebay and Australia Post I am left the pauper of the whole deal. The big culprit has been the cost of postage. Postage is unavoidable for me, as I live in a regional Queensland town far from the markets. I have spent a lot of time looking for an alternative and I have found Sendle to be a much cheaper alternative to anything bulky or heavy. When I say bulky, I am talking about laptop lids or more relevant here would be say, lawnmower wheels. I don't want to blow their horn too much as I don't want to act like a representative of theirs. All I want to do is to encourage anyone who needs to send an article to another town etc. and who has been put off by the cost of postage to check out their rates (you can get quotes online). Even better, they will pick up from your door and deliver to the door of the recipient.
The only drawback is that they can be very slow. They use Fastway as the carrier but somehow don't charge their rates. Maybe they go "space available" so lower rates. Definitely cheaper than Auspost by far.

Hi Sparker,
First up, no issues at all apart from strictly speaking not the correct Sub-Forum, thus I've moved it here to "Off Topics".
Anyway, I haven't used AP for quite some time now. Personally I feel they've outlived their usefulness.
I use a website called "Interparcel" and there you can choose whatever service you like after it gives you plenty of choices.
I generally use the "Couries Please" option as it's the cheapest between Capital Cities, but not so for regional centres where AP will still be the better option. Regardless I'll do whatever I can to avoid using AP.
Cheers, BB.
I live a 24 Hour lifestyle, but every now and again I seem to fall asleep, well at least that's what my wife tells me.
