Hi All,

Unfortunately for me I have lost my soft catcher for my Rover Blaxland push mower. I have checked the spare parts available and I can order the soft skin, but the frame is now not available. I do have the schematic for this, but wanted to use the knowledge here before I do so, ie has anyone got a spare to sell, or has come across this and has an alternative.

Hi elevator man, I would ask around at mower shops if they have any used ones from a wreck and keep my eyes peeled for any disposed ones on the kerbside or visit the tip or some scrap yards to look for any.
They must be out there. They just have to find you.

I thought the only Blaxland was Alf Stewart's boat !! LOL

I'm probably wrong, but the frame looks similar to the Pope mower catchers

I have a Pope catcher here if elevatorman wants to try it and if it fits can copy it.

Hi gents, thanks for the replies. Norm is there a chance I can get a pic of it? I can put a pic of the rear on here so we can see if it will fit as well. If it fits it would save me a heap of time. I have been told wire formers might be able to do it, but it will cost quite a bit! You never know I might get lucky!!

It might even be easier to find another 4 stroke mower with a catcher and a blown/missing motor and swap your motor onto it
