Noooo! That's sacrilege removing the impact start, though it looks surprisingly good with that round zip starter tacked on top.
I found a store brand once with the decomp port blocked off and had no real trouble starting it, but certainly appreciated what the valve did.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!
