My little 10 inch chainsaw started loosing power when I was using it yesterday, starts easily and revs no problem but while cutting it starts loosing power, doesn't cut out but the revs drop and so the chain stops. This saw was only bought to do one job and that job was done so I have no issue with the machine because it was very cheap so I am not too interested in spending much time fixing it. It has probably had 6 tanks of fuel in it but my thoughts are that this is a fuel delivery problem possibly with the fuel filter restricting the flow at revs. Anybody have any thoughts and getting to the fuel filter may just not be worth the effort involved
