Bruce, thank you for access to the diagrams. I have a Masport 5hp Rotahoe that I purchased mid to late 80�s. After a long period of non-use, I have been using the hoe again. I have encountered problems with what I believe to be the drive chain stretching. The engine runs fine, but when putting into gear there is no drive applied to the tines & there is a very unhealthy sounding grinding noise. From reading prior posts on this subject, it seems parts availability may be a problem. Am I able to purchase anything to repair the hoe, either as a complete unit or new chains? Also, from looking at other posts, is the chain drive held together by bolts, because there is no evidence to indicate that, looking like the drive housing has been pressed together. There does not appear to anything holding it together. Failing that, if the hoe cannot be repaired, what is your recommendation on the purchase of a new rotary hoe. Thank you.
