it�s a 79 model engine runs good so I�ll properly just use it as intended give it a service and see how it goes

I think that is a sensible approach.
The main thing is that a
rare AUS lawnmower is saved.
This does seem to be a venture only Singer (Australia) undertook.
Your late 1970s B&S is a great motor.
I'm guessing this is a 13 Series 5HP, rather than the 10 Series 4HP.
Either way, this is an overpowered chassis.
Please keep us informed as to progress.
