Yes Buckets, I have to wiggle the pedal on my Anniversary 88 as well as it doesn't sit in neutral properly. Batteries can still have a surface charge but when the starter engages it then doesn't have the 'grunt' to turn the motor past compression. Hence the reason for using battery load testers to see if the battery is ok.
