I don't think the issue of 'diesel' fuel is any different.
Dumb folks will do dumb things ...
As in, misfuelling of diesel cars? With modern common rail diesel engines, that can get seriously exy! Up to $20k, for a current model Subaru diesel, I've heard.
The thing to do, on realising that one has fuelled up a diesel car with petrol, is to
push it away from the pump, without even attempting to start it!
Then call for a tow truck, to take it to a workshop for draining and flushing of the fuel tank...
