I have rebuilt an XL5 and a Stallion and although there is some very slight similarities with the XL5 too many bits are not. Only Greenfield indicators is the clutch pack and the yellow under red paint under the seat area. The clutch pack assembly is in a much lower position that the XL5 as well so it is not one of these that has had a few mods. The XL5 would have been quite a bit cheaper to produce that a tractor because there is a lot less materials required to build them and I think they were a great little mower and with the rear engine they were much easier to steer than having the motor lumped over the front end. They are hard enough to steer and the rear mounted motor does make it easier. I built a Stallion for a bloke a year or so back and put a Chonda motor on it and he called in a few weeks ago and said it was a fantastic little mower and he was really happy with it
