Marty, it is due to the primitive steering arangement, you should have an adjustable bolt on the tierod that ties the 2 wheels together that hits up against the wheel to stop it going too far. My mates does the same thing and it drives him nuts but I have to work out what to do with his because it doesn't have the adjuster. He has to get off and pull the wheels back to straighten them up. I was just thinking, if you reverse, does that free the wheels up?
