if you have puller holes use them otherwise i do this. have a look at this .ive tried it a few times and also on my last kirby. it worked so easily. almost no effort and not using a large mallet to pound the shaft seems a lot kinder to my bearings .i did drench the whole thing with innox for a full day before.
