I guess my question is: how do you get spare parts without knowing
the actual 'customer' it was sold to? It could be any number of 'makes'.
Yep, for sure that is the main problem with an 'orphan', such as this one. Just as well it was cheap!
I'd say it's unlikely that this model was marketed by any of the major brands, but of course I could be wrong.
The other headache with these 'generic' products out of China is lack of documentation.
Stuff that we would regard as fundamental, like owners/service manuals and illustrated parts lists, are just not something the Chinese see as necessary to produce, if left to their own devices. They are much the same way with providing spare parts, too.
