Thanks for the reply. Yes I think you may be right with the clutch upgrade. And yes it does have the 2 grub screws on the shaft. The clutch seems to be very stable on the shaft and will not slide along it. I also tightened them to make sure. Do I need to adjust the arm that engages the clutch.
