Just wanted to update this wanted list.I have had a generous donation from vccomm (Thanks man).Of which I got some handles and a catcher flap for this project.
Now the catcher flap seems to be the right one.The handles were from a VC-125 mark II of which I thought were the same handles.It turns out I was only half right.
Although they look the same there is a difference,besides the mounting for the catcher brackets,of which I have welded and filled and made them look like there not there.There is a difference between the left and right handle.The right side is the same,but the left hand side is different.Different style and different bends.It will fit don't get me wrong,but it's not going to look quite right.I'll take some photos and show you all.
Although I'm going to use them I will still be on the hunt for the left handle.Now from what I have learnt I believe these handles were only exclusive to the Impala 2's and Impala 4's.
Although I have prepared the engine I have ready to go,I'm still chasing the correct engine with the correct number.
