I had one of their very early locally-designed and -manufactured chainsaws many years ago Jack, and it was quite awful compared with good imported ones. The problem was not with the concept, which was in line with overseas designs, it was the details of the execution, which made it very unreliable. It could be argued that small organisations trying to make complex products inevitably lack both the engineering budget, and the experienced staff, to get that stuff right on a new product.
