Back in the late 70's? Victa sold a large number of machines to Sears whose brand was "Craftsman", the story was the order was placed over dinner and the order was written on the back of a napkin.
The name Craftsman was owned by Victa in Australia and they signed over the name to the MSAA the Mower Specialist of Australia in the early 80's and this became their premium exclusive brand
