Another day, another Victa. This time it is a late 50's or very early 60's Victa 18 with the fixed non recoil starter pulley. This has issues and does not run - YET ! No spark is the first issue. Crook ignition coil although somebody has recently fitted a new condenser. The points were great insulators !! Crankshaft bearings are real rough - does any one know the types ? And seal sizes ? I'd like to get the bits before I dismantle it.It has quite good compression though. I really think I should concentrate on getting the VC's 160 Mk1 and Mk 2 going first - what the heck !
