I have struck a brick wall up here as far as the clutch goes.My local guy says I am wasting my time and that clutches and /or clutch springs are no longer available, "may as well throw the saw away"!!. I can get a carby kit,new bar and chain ,fuel filter and air filter but all to no avail if I can't get a clutch spring. I have been to 2 spring suppliers up here who will gladly make me one for "around $150", and they have nothing off the shelf to suit.I have been to several mower places and all are not even interested in trying to chase one for me,"absolutely unavailable"I'm told.The spring seems to be a seperate McCulloch part on its own. Any clues as to where else I could chase one down????.
